Are you looking to accelerate your career and join a scaling Fintech company that is breaking the mould in the markets they serve. Talent Partners are working on an exclusive basis with a client company to recruit a Vice President of Sales for their organisation. As VP of Sales, you will sit on the Company Leadership team and report directly to the CEO.

As VP of Sales, you will own the sales and revenue targets for new and repeat customers. Our client serve micro, small, and medium businesses in the Philippines with outbound and inbound strategies. Their product creates such enormous value for their customers that they achieve 3x CAC ROI in the first year, in their most expensive channel. The company are experiencing revenue growth in all cohorts.

In the next phase of their growth, the company wish to grow from $10m to $100m ARR. They have achieved ~$10m ARR with 12 sales FTEs without having a designated VP of Sales in place . Thus, they are confident that with exceptional sales leadership they will achieve this milestone within a 3 year period.

While initial onboarding may take place in Dublin, the role is based full-time in Hong Kong with extensive travel to the Philippines and other markets as our client company expand their reach.


Key Responsibilities of the role will include:

(i) Lead the Sales function and report directly to the CEO whose primary responsibility is to grow revenue from $10m to $100m ARR.
(ii) Sales strategy: Develop a dynamic, high-growth outbound and inbound sales strategy to increase customer acquisition and achieve net negative cohort churn.
(iii) Culture: Foster an electric, high-performance culture with people motivated by the company’s purpose, where people love to work and and love their team.
(iv) Team Leadership: Support your team of sales managers to achieve their team’s targets through training, developing actionable and realistic business plans, and solving conversion blockers.
(v) People Development: Design and implement best-in-class sales training programs to grow future leaders from within and maximise the potential of all sales team members.
(vi) Manage and optimise the funnel: use oversight metrics and qualitative understanding of customer blockers to understand and improve funnel performance.
(vii) Develop the sales methodology: continuously evaluate the sales methodology and processes to achieve market dominance and break into new markets.
(viii) Product & marketing liaison: surface and unblock customer and conversion problems, and co-ordinate new product releases to the customer base, partner with marketing to achieve qualified lead volume targets.
(ix) Budget ownership: budget and the staffing plan to grow the sales org to deliver sales targets whilst maintaining prudent acquisition costs.

Ideally the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

(i) Experienced in working in a high-performance outbound sales to SMBs
Passionate about coaching, mentorship and building high performing teams.
(ii) Experienced at managing first line managers in all areas of the sales cycle
(iii) Customer-centric with a strong track record of developing loyal and satisfied customers
(iv) Personable and able to work as a member of a small team while interacting with peers, internal departments, and prospects
(v) Structured problem solving able to accurately forecast team performance
(vi) Strongly attentive to detail in a fast-paced environment
(vii) An excellent oral and written communicator
