About the Role:

As Sales Director, you will play a crucial role in understanding the Asset Finance marketplace, along with the business demands, challenges, and opportunities faced by our client’s customer base. Your responsibilities will involve working on behalf of customers to maximise the value of our client’s products and services, ensuring swift access to asset financing within your designated customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand our client’s network of customers and partners by proactively seeking new connections, building long-term relationships, and utilising both digital capabilities and traditional networking methods.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the asset finance market, including competitor products, and utilise strong lending credit skills to maximise the value of our client’s product offerings to their customers base.
  • Achieve annual sales targets as outlined in accordance with the company’s commercial projections.
  • Drive and maintain a high level of new business enquiries for Hire Purchase and Leasing, focusing on increasing introductory sources through Vendor/Dealer relationships and Brokers.
  • Produce and deliver ‘new business’ reports showcasing your capability to meet personal sales targets.
  • Generate quality credit reports in line with company guidelines, incorporating financial analysis, asset risk quality, risk mitigation, asset valuation, and client background analysis.
  • Collaborate with the broader Lending teams to ensure a brand-aligned top customer experience and support continuous improvement across services.
  • Work closely with the Portfolio Risk team to ensure the health and quality of your lending portfolio, including timely support on arrears management to minimise associated costs.

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • A proven track record of success within the Asset Finance industry.
  • A degree in finance or a related field is desirable, and a QFA/APA qualification is an advantage.
  • Self motivated to deliver on assigned targets and comfortable working to individual targets and collaborating with company colleagues.
